
It's one of life time experience like what adventurous climbers do, jungle trek, rock climb to the peak that takes you to see the spectacular pinnacle formations rising from the top of the 300m limestone/granite outcrop Bukit Takun. Series of razor-sharp limestone spikes that tower above the surrounding vegetation made its the hidden gems for non- climber and surrounded by dense jungle home to many wildlife like wild boar, gibbon, squirrel and many more.
So now you can witness the beauty, uniqueness of the hidden pinnacle formations without any rock climbing skills. It starts with the easy rock climbing up the 10m height of rocks to the ledge then from here we scramble over the rocks, slope and ledges that lead us up to the top of the crag at about 50m above the ground. Here we do one of the remarkable adrenaline rush short scramble over the sharp pinnacle rocks to the view point that overlooking the pinnacles for photo and short break for snacks before descend. The descend by abseiling down using the rope which is the most unforgettable thrilling part of the trip. an unique place to enjoy the natures and true adventures. Difficulty & prerequisite
Rating 2 of 5, easy, suitable for adventure seeker and adrenaline junkies with decent fitness to trek/hike in the wilderness and having good flexibility of body movement climbing on vertical rocks, mainly high stepping/some upper body strength would be added advantage. Safety climbing equipment will be used for safety during ascend and descend. For safety harness fitting require waist size smaller than 115cm.
What to bring and wear
- Weather is humid and hot on sunny day, plenty of water recommended 1.5L
- Sporty wear, recommended long sleeve dry fit and pant for insect bites protection
- Comfortable trekking shoe with good grips on the rough terrains (rocks and soil)
- Insect repellent
- Snacks, energy foods, choc, banana etc.
- Personal medicines for a day
- Keep your fingers and toes nail short, you need step and grip on tiny holds.
- Small backpack to carry supplies during the climbs ( mainly water and snacks )
