Mount Yushan

Mount Yushan 6 days and 5 nights Time Schedule

Mount Yushan is under Yushan National park

Established on 10 th April 1985, it is a national park with the largest area. It embraces the summit of Northeast Asia , Yushan. This is a mountainous national park

Highlight :- Mount Yushan is the highest mountain in Taiwan .

Price not include : Personal hiking equipment, meals out side jungle, Insurance, Porter, flight ticket and walking food (Lunch) .

Price Include : Entrance fees, Transportation, Accommodation, Meals during trekking, camping equipment, First Aid and Guide.

Minimum Participant : 8 person.

Day 1 KL to Taiwan . (Jalan Jalan Cari Makan)

Day 2 Taipei to Alishan. Overnight at Alishan.

Day 3 Transfer from Alishan to Tataga and trek to Paiyun lodge.(8.5 km trek)

Day 4 From Paiyun Lodge Trek to Mt Yushan (2.4 km trek) and Back to Tataga (10.9 km trek) and to Alishan, overnight at Alishan.

Day 5 Alishan back to Taipei

Day 6 Taipei flight back to KL

It Is for me?

For the trek on this trip the general rule is the more preparation you have done for it, the more you will enjoy it. The climb is pretty strenuous as we walk through hilly terrain with our back packs and the temperature is often hot and muggy changing to -5 Celsius at the top of Mt Yushan. MMG recommend that you undertake regular aerobic activities in three months before you trekking, particularly if you are not in the habit of regular exercise. Walking, jogging, swimming or riding a bike are all good ways to increase your aerobic fitness, which will allow you to enjoy the trek to its fullest. This trip is advisable to join MMG organize training trip before join the trip.

  • The time schedule subject to change, any change MMG will let participants know early.
  • If the trip not enough people MMG have the right to postpone or cancel the trip.
  • Participant have help MMG to carry food and roughly estimate for men 4kg and for women 3kg.

  12. Emergency food or Energy bar.

  14. Wind breaker or wind stopper.
  15. Mask to cover ear.

A deposit of RM600 is required upon confirmation and the balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to the departure date. Non-payment by required date may result in the cancellation of your booking and subjected to cancellation charges.

Special Note (For trekkers):
It is recommended that all trekkers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any high altitude trek. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from trekking to a high altitude.
Hypertension, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (overweight). Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease, which may hamper the trekker.
