Mount Syuet Range

Mount Syuet Range 7days and 6 nights Time Schedule

Mount Syuet is Under Shei-Pa National Park and which is covers an area of 76,850 hectares on the central Taiwan range, slightly to the north of central Taiwan . This is a region of magnificent mountains: within the park are 51 peaks over 3,000 meters high. It is a mostly wild and undeveloped area with a range of wildlife that includes many rare and endemic species. The park was founded to protect and study this splendid wilderness, maintaining the natural environment and all forms of life it includes. Conservation is therefore the first priority for Shei-Pa National Park , and a large proportion of its land is protected as Conversation Area, or Special Scenic Area, with limited access for ordinary visitors.

Highlight :- Mount Syue is the second highest mountain in Taiwan .

Price not include : Personal hiking equipment, meals out side jungle, Insurance, Porter, flight ticket and walking food (Lunch) .

Day 3 Trek to Sinda Shelter. (Mt Chihyou 3301M)

Day 4 Trek to Sumida Shelter. (Mt Pintian 3529M)

Day 5 Trek to 36o Cabin and Stay. (North Peak of Mt Syue 3702M and Mt Syue 3884M)

Day 6 Trek to Wuling farm and back to Taipei . ( East Peak of Mt Syue 3199M)

It Is for me?

For the trek on this trip the general rule is the more preparation you have done for it, the more you will enjoy it. The climb is pretty strenuous as we walk through hilly terrain with our back packs and the temperature is often hot and muggy changing to -5 Celsius at the top of Mt Syue. MMG recommend that you undertake regular aerobic activities in three months before you trekking, particularly if you are not in the habit of regular exercise. Walking, jogging, swimming or riding a bike are all good ways to increase your aerobic fitness, which will allow you to enjoy the trek to its fullest. This trip is advisable to join MMG organize training trip before join the trip.

  • The time schedule subject to change, any change MMG will let participants know early.
  • If the trip not enough people MMG have the right to postpone or cancel the trip.
  • Participant have help MMG to carry food and roughly estimate for men 4kg and for women 3kg.

A deposit of RM600 is required upon confirmation and the balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to the departure date. Non-payment by required date may result in the cancellation of your booking and subjected to cancellation charges.

Special Note (For trekkers):
It is recommended that all trekkers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any high altitude trek. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from trekking to a high altitude.
Hypertension, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (overweight). Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease, which may hamper the trekker.
