Ladakh Trek

Ladakh Trek (10D)

Traveling over the traditional route passing over 5 high Himalayan Passes, Ladakh is a mountainous desert located at altitudes ranging from 9,000 ft. to 25,000 ft. It is one of the most spectacular journeys in the Western Himalayas. You can experience the formation of the Himalayas in this tour covering roughly around 800 km of the Himalayan region. This tour first brings you to the Shivalik Himalayas between Kiratpur to Mandi. You will be visiting the Lower Himalayan hills along the Beas river, between Mandi (760m) to Manali (2050m). Continue to the High Himalayan passes at Rohtang Pass (3978m), Baralachala Pass (4890m.), Nakee La (5050m) Lachlungla Pass (5100m) and Tanglangla Pass (5360m). We will also be visiting the Trans Himalayan valleys of Lahaul, Sarp Valley and Ladakh.

Day 1   Delhi Chandigarh O/N Hotel
On arrival Delhi Airport, transfer to New Delhi Rail-Way Station for fast train (1720hr), arriving Chandi- Garh 2040hr.
On arrival, transfer to hotel.
Day 2   Manali. O/N Hotel (B)
Drive (7-8hrs) to Manali, visit Rorich Art Gallery and Naggar Castle at Naggar, enroute.
Day 3   Manali (B)
Morning, visit Hidimba Devi Temple, Manu temple, Tibetan Monasteries and mountaineering institute.
Optional Solang Trek at No EXTRA COST (4hr)
Day 4  Keylong (B)
Journey over Pir Panjal range of the High Himalayas
Crossing Rohtang pass (3978m). Arrive the Small town of Keylong after pass through many
Traditional tribal villages with beautiful scenery of Waterfalls, glaciers and snow capped peaks.
Day 5  Keylong (B)
Trek to Shishur Monastery then back to Keylong for lunch, before drive to visit Kardang Monastery.
Afternoon free for own activities.
Optional Kora Trek at No extra COST (5-6 hours). Good for those who like to acclimatize and trek for longer.
Day 6   Sarchu (BD) O/N Camp
Drive 120km (4-5hrs) through Lahaul Valley, over Baralachala (4890m), small mountain lakes before arriving at Sarchu.
Day 7   Leh (BL)
Early morning drive 240km (7-8hrs) to Leh, cross
high passes: NakeeLa 5050m, Lachlungla 5100m
And Tanglangla 5360m. The views is so excellent

Free N Easy at Leh
Day 9  Leh Stok Thikshey Leh (B)
Visit Thiksey monastery, Shey Palace, Stok Palace
Day 10   Fly to Delhi via Indian Airlines and free & east at Delhi before transfer to airport for flight home

Reservation

A deposit of RM1500 is required upon confirmation and the balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to the departure date. Non-payment by required date may result in the cancellation of your booking and subjected to cancellation charges.


Special Note (For trekkers):
It is recommended that all trekkers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any high altitude trek. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from trekking to a high altitude.
Hypertension, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Severe Anemia, Peptic Ulcers, Epileptic Fits, Obesity (overweight). Chronic Asthma, Muscular Cramps, Hepatitis (Jaundice); or any other disease, which may hamper the trekker.
