The journey commences in the ancient city of Kathmandu; from Kathmandu we will board a bus to Pokhara for an overnight stay. The treks begin in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, from where we will take a short bus ride to Phedi village. This is where the adventure really starts. Ascending along the trail through a number of beautiful forest areas and enjoying the spectacular views of the vast Himalayas, we can take delight in the playfulness of the local Langure monkeys. The highlight of this trek will be a visit to Poon Hill (3210m) from where we will be able to see a spectacular sunrise over the whole Himalayan range and surrounding rice terraces (a photographers paradise!).
